Instruments and Equipment

The Department of Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Analysis is well-equipped with a wide range of instruments to support academic, practical, and research activities. The laboratory facilities include essential analytical instruments such as Analytical balance, pH meter, Conductivity meter, Potentiometer, Colorimeter, Photo fluorimeter, Flame photometer, Turbidity meter, Digital TDS meter, and Polarimeter for qualitative and quantitative analysis.

The department is also equipped with temperature and heating devices including Digital thermometer, digital telethermometer, hot air oven, muffle furnace, and heating mantle.

For sample preparation and processing, instruments such as magnetic stirrer with hot plate and orbital shaker are available.

The laboratory further includes distillation and purification units like steam distillation unit, a wall-mounted distillation unit, and demineralizer. Supporting equipment such as vacuum pump is also available, enabling efficient laboratory operations and research activities.
